We believe AI assistants should actually do things on your computer, not just talk about doing things. WindOp was born from frustration with chatbots that could describe file changes but couldn't make them, that could suggest commands but couldn't run them.

WindOp is a true Windows operator — it gives AI real hands on your PC. Organize files, automate tasks, run PowerShell commands, control your desktop — all through natural conversation. Built natively for Windows with Rust and Tauri v2 for speed and reliability.

The free tier has zero telemetry — no analytics, no phone-home, no hidden data collection. You bring your own API key, so your data never touches our servers. Pro and Team tiers use telemetry because you sign into WindOp's managed service — we monitor service health and usage to keep your cloud features running smoothly. You can even build from source if you want full transparency.
