WindOp v0.3.0 Release Notes

WindOp v0.3.0 release notes: WindOp Pro: use WindOp with no API key of your own, with AI credits every month, top-ups and a free trial

  • 15 features
  • 4 fixes
  • 2 performance

New Features15

  • WindOp Pro: use WindOp with no API key of your own, with AI credits every month, top-ups and a free trial
  • Reasoning control beside the model: Auto, Off or a level, remembered per model
  • Long chats compact themselves; set "Compact at" or type /compress
  • Search inside chats, a draft per chat, and an optional spending limit per chat
  • Claude Code chats see images; Claude Code and Codex chats use your WindOp memory and show their thinking
  • Approve risky actions from Discord, with approval rules per app and learned commands
  • Let Claude Code, Codex or Cursor use WindOp's tools (off by default)
  • New WindOp Website theme with the live galaxy, in dark and light
  • See, add and remove what WindOp remembers (Settings → Behavior → Memory)
  • Read these release notes inside WindOp (Settings → Behavior → General, or the command palette)
  • WindOp tells you which routines ran late or were skipped while it was closed
  • Windows: optionally start WindOp hidden in the tray when a routine is due (Settings → Behavior → General, off by default)
  • First-run setup shows whether Claude Code and Codex are installed and helps you sign in
  • Computer control can copy from one app and paste into another, and keeps your clipboard image
  • Edit a project's name and goal; the goal now reaches the AI, even for folder projects

Fixes4

  • Mac: the emergency stop is ⌃⌥Esc, and ⌘M minimizes again
  • Computer control asks once, stays out of the way and stops cleanly
  • Sync keeps both versions when a memory note changed on two devices, and new sync passphrases need 12 characters
  • Kanban cards can be moved with the keyboard, and the board shows load errors with a Retry button

Performance2

  • First chat and Settings open noticeably faster, and coming back to Chats keeps your place
  • Smaller prompts and better caching make each step cheaper and faster
