Keyboard Shortcuts
Almost everything in WindOp is a keystroke away. These are the defaults; the first five can be changed.
App shortcuts
| Shortcut | Action |
|---|---|
| Ctrl+M | Open or close the quick model switcher |
| Ctrl+N | Start a new conversation |
| Ctrl+, | Open or close Settings |
| Ctrl+L | Focus the message box |
| Ctrl+Shift+W | Open the workspace |
| Ctrl+K | Command palette (search chats, models, navigation, settings) |
| Enter | Send the message |
| Shift+Enter | New line in the message |
| Escape | Close a panel or dialog |
| ? | Show the shortcuts overlay (when not typing in a field) |
Global hotkey
A system-wide hotkey brings WindOp forward from any app. The default is CommandOrControl+Shift+N (Ctrl+Shift+N on Windows). Change it under SettingsGeneral → Keyboard & Input.
Rebind a shortcut
Open Keyboard & Input
Go to SettingsGeneral and find the app shortcuts.
Record a new combination
Choose the action, press the keys you want, then release them. Invalid combinations are ignored.
Note
WindOp only claims the shortcuts it needs; everything else passes through to the app you are typing in.What's next
